Half and Half Coffee

I came to see what all the fuss was about and I was honestly mind blown at how good my drink was. The two ladies working there are also really nice and willing to work with you if you didn’t like a drink.

I got the Blue Lagoon with Cream and it’s sooo good! 😍 can’t wait to try the other drinks as well. We definitely needed a place like this in the KMC

Ordered a few drinks to taste what the hype was about- a dirty pumpkin pie chai late , an Italian soda “cool as a cucumber”(with soda water) , & the s’more latte. The pumpkin pie chai tasted just like pumpkin pie! It wasn’t overly sweet or syrupy & was delicious ( I could also taste the coffee versus just the flavoring which was a plus). The Italian soda was surprisingly my favorite- it was light & refreshing.. will definitely be back for this one & to try others 🤩. I ordered the s’more late for my husband and it was also good (not my favorite.. on the sweeter side), but the presentation with a perfectly roasted marshmallow on top was a 10/10! My only downside to the experience is the wait.. I’ve came a few other times (unsuccessfully.. although they did just open so no biggie) and there was too long of a line to make it through without waiting a crazy amount of time. This time I did wait about 25 min & there were only around 5 people in front of me.. however I’d gladly wait again for the drinks 🤩 also… highly appreciate the plastic straw instead of paper and the generous amount of ice (softball ice at that!)😆

I drink A LOT of coffee and all different kinds, so I feel like I’m a pretty decent judge of coffee 😂

I went yesterday around 10:30 AM. From parking down the street, getting in line, and finally getting my coffee, it was about 35 minutes total.

I got a single shot of espresso and a crème brûlée latte.

The espresso was really good. You can definitely tell the coffee itself is good quality.

The latte, though… way too much syrup for me. They don’t use pumps or measure the syrups, they just hand-pour them, so I think that probably contributed. I finished it, but it was giving me major flashbacks to college after accidentally hitting a stale fruity vape 😂😂

Price wise, I thought it was reasonable for the coffee. I don’t drink chai or dirty Red Bulls, so I can’t speak to those.

The location is probably my biggest complaint. I understand wanting to be close to base, but that street is already pretty packed with parking because of the other businesses. The line also extends into the parking lot, so everyone has to keep moving out of the way for cars coming in and out. We had to move at least 4 times while we were waiting yesterday. Not exactly ideal if you have a baby or small kids with you.

Overall, it was okay! I’m glad I tried it, and the coffee itself is good, but between the wait, the location, and the syrupy latte, I probably wouldn’t go back regularly. If I do, I’ll definitely stick to the espresso drinks such as a cappuccino.

Just my honest opinion though, I’m sure everyone will have a different experience! 😊
