5/5. That's all I'm gonna say about that.
This DFAC has overcome and has achieved an incredible success. Food is tasty and healthy, Staff are kind, and it’s Clean.
I threw away my meal card because I would rather put my hand in an enlarged paper shredder than eat eggs that taste like Styrofoam packing peanuts and year old bagel again. The best part is when we were told that the same breakfast that made me feel disgust for multiple hours was less sketchy than lunch or dinner.
This has to be one of the worst DFACs I have been to. I have to DFACs in all sorts of places but this one is just sad. LRMC needs to do better.
So it's free for me...and I still don't want to go. It's the same bland food every single day. The short order line has been closed for weeks. Not that the short order line tastes better...it's just different. Breakfast is the only meal I eat there, and that's because it's the only place open.
I don't know how this got 5 stars. It's hospital food prepared by the Army. I didn't think that I would ever miss the DFAC in the AOR...until I got here.
