Hatte mich auf einen Leberkässemmel gefreut.... bekommen habe ich einen staubtrockenen aufgetauten Semmel, der Leberkäs wurde in der Mikro aufgewärmt und war kaum dicker als Aufschnitt.
Dafür wurden dann 3 Euro verlangt.... ich war mehr als enttäuscht.

During the holiday weekend, the store was closed on Saturday, and even the decent cafés at the castle were closed, so I had no choice but to use this rather unimpressive place because it was the only one that was open.

I visited on August 15, 2026. According to the menu displayed at the time, a 500 ml bottle of water was €2, and I chose an ice cream priced at €3.50. I was told that the minimum for card payments was €5. Therefore, my total should have been €5.50.

However, I was actually charged €6.00.

I was overcharged by €0.50, but I suppose the woman at the register must have been struggling financially and had no choice but to take a few extra cents from an unsuspecting tourist like me.

I should have pointed it out at the time, but since it was only €0.50, I decided it wasn’t worth the effort and let it go. I will consider that €0.50 a charitable donation from me to someone in financial need.

She also had an unpleasant attitude throughout the entire interaction.

When I tried to tap my card on the payment terminal, she took the card directly out of my hand, made the payment herself, and then casually tossed the card back to me.

I was tempted to throw the receipt in her face as well, but as a proud Japanese person, I chose not to do so.

She should be grateful that I was Japanese😊
